Leverington Parish is in the Wisbech
area of the Cambridgeshire Fens. It has a thriving business
community with agriculture and horticulture, light engineering,
service industries and more.
The village of Leverington has a long history
and continues to grow and develop. The fine church dates
from the early 13th century and is in regular use.
The well equipped primary school has 175 pupils with
a pre-school building in the grounds. The I. T. suite
is for the use of the community and has evening classes
for beginners.
Sports and recreation are well catered for with a
Village Hall, Public Houses, the Foal Ground Recreation
Area and a Sports and Social Club.
The Parish Council meets every six weeks in the Primary
School and the minutes are posted on the Parish Notice
